At SwitchOn, an Edge-AI manufacturing start-up, I joined as the sole designer and led two SaaS products from zero to live — and now mentor a junior designer while still owning the UX vision. My users sit in India, Germany, Brazil and Japan, so I design for real cultural differences in how people work, not just for one default market.

    DeepInspect Train

    Rebuilt an externally-designed beta into a standardised wizard: fewer steps, real error validation, grouped field hierarchy.

    Service-desk complaints dropped sharply; configuration time cut for every new SKU.

    Designed a plant-wide monitoring platform from scratch — real-time vision-system health, OEE% and root-cause analysis.

    82% of interviewed users said it would substantially ease their work; replaced manual spreadsheet OEE checks.

    • Led the end-to-end design of two SaaS applications from scratch — DeepInspect Train and DeepInspect Cloud — both live and serving real users today.
    • Joined as the sole designer and took full ownership of the UX vision: research, IA, wireframes, hi-fi Figma, prototypes and dev handoff.
    • Collaborated daily with engineers and project managers — scoping feasibility early, specing interactions mockups can't carry, and reviewing the UI/UX of every front-end ticket before release.
    • Ran the Double Diamond and Lean UX in practice: interviews, competitor teardowns (Keyence, Cognex, Elementary ML, DesignX), assumption mapping, usability testing.
    • Built the product's first reusable UI patterns — wizard, forms, data-viz and modular dashboard components — so the platform scales consistently.
    • Praised by sales and customers as the most sophisticated, user-friendly UI in the competitive set.
